The purpose of this research is to know how family functioning and school performance are related. A sample of 32 students from the sixth grade of primary education of the educational unit "Escuela Estado Lara" of the Libertador municipality of the State of Merida, whose ages fluctuate between 10 and 12 years old, was taken for the study.
