Present work attempts to analyze life of the suspension bracket. A typical suspension bracket configuration of heavy commercial vehicle is chosen for study. Finite element analysis has been carried out to determine the safe stresses and pay loads.It begins with understanding of the aim, objective, scope of suspension system and their functions. The purpose of present work is static, modal and fatigue analysis to predict the stress, natural frequency and life of suspension bracket. It gives an account of static force analysis and load calculations. CAD model of suspension was done using software CATIA. A brief description about how the design and analysis of suspension bracket will be done is presented.

Dr. SADASHIVA. M, the author, received his Ph.d in Mechanical Engineering from JNTU, Andhrapradesh (2019) and M.E (Manufacturing science and Eng) from UVCE, (2011). He has nine years of teaching experience. Author awarded with ¿RULA International Award-2018¿ for his research work. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor in PESCE, Mandya.
