Ken Wallentine is the Chief of Police in West Jordan, Utah. He is the former Chief of Law Enforcement for the Utah Attorney General. Chief Wallentine is a use of force consultant and expert witness in state and federal criminal and civil litigation in many courts across the nation. Chief Wallentine formerly served as Bureau Chief of the POST Investigations Bureau and as Administrative Counsel for Utah Department of Public Safety. A law enforcement officer since 1982, he has been editor-in-chief of a prestigious law journal, law professor, practicing public attorney and municipal judge. Chief Wallentine's newsletter, Xiphos, is now in its twentieth year, reaching attorneys and officers across the nation with current updates on criminal procedure and liability developments. His most recent book, The K9 Officer's Legal Handbook, 3d Ed., was published by Blue 360 Media.
