A.V. Wittner lives in Annapolis, Maryland (USA). His career includes years as a European specialist and later in environmental affairs. He was a partner at Harbridge House, Inc., the management consulting firm. He has degrees from Cornell and Columbia and has taught at a number of universities. He is an ocean fisherman.
