Phil Ware is the former senior minister for the Southern Hills Church in Abilene, Texas. For over a decade, he has written daily devotionals for www.heartlight.org. For his work with Heartlight, Phil has been awarded the Pioneer in Internet Ministry Award (1998), the ACU Lamp Award for Excellence in Mass Media Ministry (1999), and the Change the World Award (2006). He lives with his wife in Abilene, Texas.
