Mary Venable-Vaughn holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resource Development from Indiana State University and a Master's Certification in Industrial Systems Technology from Indiana University. She is the Founder and Director of Community and Faith Outreach Initiative, Inc., an organization with the mission of being an advocate for grandparents/kinship and foster parents raising children and other family member. Focusing on strengthening the family structure. Venable-Vaughn has held many positions in the Women's Missionary Society of the African Methodist Episcopal Church, President of the Indiana Conference Women's Missionary Society and Historiographer/Statistician of the 4th Episcopal District. Mary's God given talents are used to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. Mary is the author of "Member's Class 102" a book that helps in the teaching of membership or Bible Study Classes in or out of the church, this book is used nationally and Internationally. One of Mary's favorite scriptures comes from Joshua 24:15 that states "As for me and my house we will serve the Lord". Mary is married to Rev. Emmanuel J. Vaughn, Sr. a pastor in the African Methodist Episcopal Church for more than 22 years and they have four children Teresa, George Jr., Aleycia and Emmanuel Jr.
