Autorenporträt
Mr. Christian, who became Canadian by choice after taking to the far seas of this planet, at the age of 16, has compiled his lifetime of literary talents into a series of books. While married to his first love, he helped to raise two children with her, while at the same time, fighting a lifetime of racial discriminatory practices at his place of employment. In spite of this adversity, he managed to work his way up the ranks to become the first black Chief Engineer with BC Ferries. With the lost of his first love to cancer after 30 years of marriage, he struggled to deal with this devastation, until a second chance came along in the form of his second love, whom he has been married to for 15 years now. So come on in and flip the pages a while, with a descendant of Fletcher Christian, of Napoleon's Admiral Gantaume, a Grandson of Carib & Arawack Indians and of Runaway Slaves. Take the time to listen to the anecdotes passed down into these books as a result of a lifetime of living in many corners...
