Jason is a 16-year old science genius yet he's a lonely, emotionally-guarded kid. He has no friends and he wouldn't dare let his classmate Melanie know how much he loves her. Shunted from one foster home to another, Jason yearns for family. When he learns he has a brother that's surprising enough but when his brother reveals a secret so bizarre, so unbelievable Jason rejects him. Yet fate throws the brothers together, propelling them on a cross-country road trip, an adventure-filled journey that turns into a perilous race against time to save another family member from imminent death. With elements of science fiction, thriller, romance and mystery, Star Brother is, at heart, a heart-rending portrayal of an adolescent yearning to express feelings, find family, and to love.
