The experiment aimed to study the effect of drip fertigation at different levels of fertilizer dosage in both small onion (COOn5) and big onion (Agri Found Dark Red). This study concerned about the usage of low cost straight fertilizers. If there is a possibility of using easily available water soluble straight fertilizer through drip, then a drastic cut in the cost of cultivation can be achieved. Total Bulb yield and Quality were increased with the increase of N and K levels but only upto a certain level. When the fertilizer dosage exceeds high (125% of recommended dose of fertilizers) there…mehr

When the fertilizer dosage exceeds high (125% of recommended dose of fertilizers) there is a reduction in yield. The study revealed that application of 75 per cent RDF (i.e., 75:112.5:56.25 kg NPK ha-1 in big onion and 45:45:22.5 kg NPK ha-1 in small onion) as fertigation proved its superiority over other treatments in respect of growth, yield and quality traits.
