Why now? This work of art is meant to help. Art, poetry, is not powerless. With the means of language, with Spring - The Glow of Time - 34 Poems Poems for Summer 2022 #StandWithUkraine, together we can help people. Therefore, with every book copy sold, at least 2EUR goes to: the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine for humanitarian purposes. The Ministry uses the money to provide food and shelter for refugees, as well as clothing, shoes and medicine. It is also used to buy food, pay financial aid and cover other basic needs of the population. And to Aktion Deutschland hilft. This is an association of 23 German aid organisations, including ASB, AWO, Johanniter and Malteser. They provide emergency aid in Ukraine, on the run and in countries of refuge. Many organisations have already been active on the ground for years and can provide precise and appropriate help. And here and now? In spring there are 34 poems below. They are diverse works. Distractions for the current time, deal with gratitude, are crossed out and removed, deal with the first steps and the last chance, let us read of gravel or tiredness and tomorrow. Are complex or deal with trust and transience or prepare joy for spring. There is something for everyone. And every poem can be commented on online. Whether with a simple comment, your own thoughts on the work or even an attempt at interpretation. Together we are strong! Help us out! Kind regards Benjamin www.benjaminkerber.de
