Owen Willis was born in Kenya, and currently lives in Nova Scotia, Canada, where he teaches at Dalhousie University. He holds Master s degrees in International Development Studies and the Sociology of Sport, and a doctorate in Religion and Development from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.
