Praise for Spiral Up to Empower Resilient Kids: "Every now and then a very special book comes across my desk that I know will really help parents on their parenting journey. Spiral Up is one such book. I was a massive fan of the use of metaphor in my teaching and in my counselling, and in this book, coupled with really beautiful graphics and images, there are many wonderful metaphors that will help you teach some of the biggest lessons we need to teach our kids. I will be getting each of my family a copy of this book so they can feel confident around some of the key challenges they will meet raising their little ones. Thank you, Kim, for such a fabulous resource for parents and educators everywhere." Maggie Dent - Author, educator, and parenting and resilience specialist "This essential reading is a godsend for parents - one of the most practical books I have read, both gentle but also powerful in its illustrated concepts. ...It provides conversation starters and frameworks that we can use as parents to teach our children important concepts, as well as helping children to express their feelings and worries in a non-judgmental, safe space." Georgina Manning - Director of Wellbeing for Kids/Peaceful Kids "This book is a beautiful opportunity for parents and children to connect and lean into some wonderful ways to navigate the challenges of life." Lael Stone - Speaker, educator, and co-author of Raising Resilient and Compassionate Children About the author Kim Ellisten is a graphic designer, author, and mum to two adult daughters.
