A native of Vitoria (ES), Brazil; Mark Bittercourt acquired the habit of reading and writing during the time he lived in the USA, but it was when he regressed to Brazil that he took a liking for writing fantastic literature, for he felt idle and presented health problems. He is a bachelor's in Biochemistry from UCI and in English literature at UFES
