From the Dick and Jane books she read in first grade to the Golden Books she read to her baby brother, Karen cherished children's books and envisioned making these wonderful, imaginative books one day. She found the magical world of her childhood dreams while illustrating "This Skin I'm In" and "Ben and Pirate Moon" written by her friend, Courtney Crane.
