This book explores some understanding toward solving a biological problem while doing research in quest. With citation of example of malaria as a problem along with historical stage involved towards gradual understanding related to its causes leading to the findings to its cure and preventions, an attempt was made to present the approach that has been involved in addressing the scientific issues in past. A practical approach that is possible to conduct practically at elementary level to get the students introduced with research and built up some interest in students has been presented in the following chapter. Mathematical and statistical tools that are needed in research have been introduced to analyze the data obtained by using research methodology (hypothetical) to arrive on conclusions about certain aspects of the issues under study to build up logical grounds to accept, discard or modify the hypothesis on a scientific query. Use of computer software from data analysis to building graphs has been introduced. Activities are designed to support thinking to address scientific issues both with conventional and innovative approach by using biotechnology as tool.
