R J Dent is a highly respected translator whose previous works include 'The Songs of Maldoror' by Lautreamont, 'Speculations' by Alfred Jarry, 'The Dead Man' by Georges Bataille and 'Capital of Pain' by Paul Eluard. As well as his translations, R J Dent is a poet and author in his own right with several volumes to his credit.
