Foreign direct investment (FDI) is an integral part of an open and effective international economic system and a major catalyst to development. Author is lecturer in Department of Agri-Economics at University College of Agriculture, University of Sargodha. He has completed his M.Phil degree in development economics in 2009 from University of Agriculture, Faisalabad. He is currently working on policy options for countries in deficit problems.
