Today, the least developed countries like Nepal are facing the dual problems of food insecurity and low agricultural production. Low outputs from agriculture in contrast to involvement of majority of citizens in agriculture have been the common fate of countries like Nepal. With the rapid increase in population and globalization, modernization in agriculture sectors in such nations becomes utmost necessity. In relevance to these issues, this book has attempted to explore the factors which drive farmers towards commercialization in agriculture and socio-economic condition of commercial agriculture farmers by selecting the farmers of Siraha and Dhankuta districts of Nepal as sample. The analysis presented about commercial farmers in this book provides new pathways for agriculture professionals & organizations to invest in agricultural researches.
