From the award-winning historical fiction writer of the My Father Trilogy comes Sixty-Six Books of the Mighty Shepherd, a crisp, synoptic version of the Bible, unique in its rich-nuggets presentation of this fact: God loves us and created us for Himself. Have you ever longed for the life-saving truth of God's love? This book distills His intentional guidance as a Mighty Shepherd leading you to that truth, shining a light on His provisions, protection, promises, instruction, mercy, and on Jesus Christ. Our world sits in a critical mess of confusion. How to find a path through the challenges we face is found within the Bible. It transforms life and lives, but how to navigate the Bible when it seems overwhelming is the question. In this easy-to-read, easy-to-see love story a Mighty Shepherd awaits, and you will recognize The One who offers you life. Sixty-Six Books of the Mighty Shepherd delivers what we need to know about His Good News and the unmistakable love He offers. THERE IS POWER to free us from the captor who guarantees our demise. THERE IS A SHEPHERD whose sacrificial love redeems us forever. "I came that (you) may have life, and live it abundantly." (John 10:10)
Autorenporträt
Annette Valentine is the author of the engaging trilogy entitled The My Father Series. She says with a delightfully serious note: it's a creative devotion to the love of a father for his child. Eastbound from Flagstaff was her debut novel and Down to the Potter's House is the second in the series. Sufficient Sacrifice is the third. Her writing began with a knack for believing in spine-tingling ghost stories and Nancy Drew mysteries. At the heart of this creative and intensely energetic writer is her purposeful compassion that launched an advocacy of the anti-human trafficking movement. Annette is a graduate of Purdue University and a retired professional interior designer having enjoyed a gratifying 34-year career. She lives in Franklin, Tennessee with her husband, Walt and their beloved Boxer, Heidi. She and her husband have two grown children and six grandchildren.
