Rob Ansell is a teacher and trainer and the author and editor of more than 30 children's books, as well as a consultant for a non-profit organization which sets up free community libraries in underprivileged classrooms and communities. With many years' experience in kindergarten and primary classrooms, Rob captures the voice of his students - poignant, playful, and laugh-out-loud funny - in his vibrant stories that leap off the page. His latest work, Simple Pleasures, captures the joy and resilience of the students he met while developing a volunteer program and training local teachers in a small rural school in the heart of Kenya.
