In the advancement of disease treatment, Nanotechnology is a burgeoning arena with myriad prospects and possibilities. Amalgamation of nanotechnology with biotechnology using controlled design of functional materials became possible by mimicking nature. In this research, we have synthesized noble metal nanoparticles using plant extract and bio-excretory. Silver nanoparticles offer wonderful results when used as antibacterial. The application of these in various fields like making medical devices and antimicrobial systems will promote many innovative discoveries. The gold nanoparticles synthesis and characterization using various advanced analytical techniques is carried out in this work. Gold nanoparticles are a new and cost- effective tool for clinical diagnosis in detection and destruction of cancer cell and will have a promising procedure for future. Our strong belief is that the so obtained biofunctionalized particles can be scaled up industrially in a much easier way. Further preliminary, in vivo toxicological studies of these noble metal nanoparticles are carried out and the study conclude that the no_obseved_effect_level (NOEL) was found to be greater than 500 µg/ kg.
