Silent Sickness is a compilation of poetry written by myself as I try to navigate young adulthood. The way I've wandered through life has been shaky and inconsistent, but poetry has been a constant for me, always there to reflect the feelings I don't believe I could articulate aloud. This book of poetry reflects a lot of my internal monologue and the ways in which I perceive the world around me.

Autorenporträt
I am a free-verse, spoken word and slam poet from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. I began writing poetry in high school as a method of selfexpression, as despite my inability to adequately articulate my feelings verbally, I can do so with written words very well. Poetry is therapeutic for me, and the last six years of my life have been better since I started writing. Alongside writing, I have completed a Bachelor's degree in psychology and intend to pursue cognitive psychology someday. When I'm not busy with school or work, I like to compete in local poetry slams in Saskatoon, and hope to someday compete at the national level."
