The works of Orwell are many times criticized for being anti- utopian, full of pessimism, gloominess and ensuring a life with no hope in future. Whereas , the case is not as it appears. The two novels ANIMAL FARM & NINETEEN EIGHTY FOUR truly stand true to the times and reflect the currents of the political and social scenario. It indicates through negative picture frames as to where the future lies.
