Selenia Paz spends a lot of her time working at a library surrounded by awesome books, and uses the rest of her time to read, write, and run with her dogs. She finds inspiration in everything from history to science and especially loves magical realism. Her manuscript "Broken English" was selected as a 2012 New Voices Honor winner by Lee and Low Books. She is also the author of the short stories "Lisbeth" (Perchance to Dream: Classic Tales from the Bard's World in New Skins, 2015), "The Inventor's Daughter" (Magic at Midnight: A YA Fairy Tale Anthology, 2018), and "The Alchemist's Daughter" (Brave New Girls: Tales of Heroines Who Hack, 2018).
