Carmel Christy is an assistant professor of Journalism at Kamala Nehru College, University of Delhi. Besides her expertise in media studies, Carmel is interested in research questions that explore the interconnections among caste, space, body, gender and sexuality. Currently, she is working on a project that analyses the interaction between caste and race in understanding the city of Kochi, Kerala.
