Phillip W. Price began his law enforcement career in late 1974. On January 8, 1978, Price was appointed to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) as a Special Agent. Price served in various capacities with the GBI, from working in extreme South Georgia swamplands to the North Georgia mountains. SAC Price retired on October 31, 2006, with twenty-nine years of criminal investigative experience.In 2010, Price was hired to lead the Cherokee Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad (CMANS), a drug task force in Canton, Georgia. Price re-retired on December 17, 2021.Price has an associate in arts degree from Reinhardt University, a bachelor of science degree from North Georgia University, and a master's in public administration from Columbus State University.He lives in Canton, Georgia.
