Kwame Frimpong Manso Adakabre is an Akan, an Ashanti. He was trained in Akan tradition and customs and has been the chief linguist for his family head for the past 30 years. He was picked to be a linguist because of his lineage and fluency in the Akan language and customary devices. He is the writer of several works of literature on Akan culture.
