Autorenporträt
Katharina Volk, Ph.D. (1999) in Classics, Princeton University, is Assistant Professor of Classics at Columbia University. A specialist in Latin poetry, she has published The Poetics of Latin Didactic: Lucretius, Vergil, Ovid, Manilius (2002) as well as numerous articles. Gareth D. Williams, Ph.D. (1990) in Classics, Cambridge, is Professor of Classics at Columbia University. He is the editor of Seneca's De otio and De breuitate uitae (2003) and the author of recent articles on Seneca's Natural Questions.
