This book is the result of finding of a research conducted on rice seeds collected from Syangja district of Nepal. There were forty-five different varieties of rice seed including improved, hybrid and local; collected from farmers and tested in laboratory to find different fungal pathogens. Seven different species of fungal pathogens were detected with various level of seed infection. Improved and hybrid varieties were found to be infected higher than that of local varieties. Mr.Shalik Ram Adhikari has obtained Msc. in Agriculture majoring plant pathology in 2009. He has been working in the capacity of Plant Protection Officer on District Agriculture Development Office, Charikot, Dolakha under Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperative of Government of Nepal. His major interest on his field is Extension Plant Clinic.
