Serving in ministry for over 30 years in different capacities, Barbara A. Michael has always found herself drawn to people of prayer. With a passion to see others grow in the knowledge of God and walk in close communion with Him, she makes the most of every opportunity to help others experience His love and presence. Through teaching in a precept and example format, she has helped many people find their way to close communion with God as they experience prayer to the Father to be as easy as breathing. After graduating in 2004 from the Association of Faith Churches and Ministries International Training Center, Barbara recognized a deep passion to help others know Christ and became even more fervent in discipleship. She has served as a ministry leader, elder, and associate pastor over the years. She now serves as Minister and Founder of Living by Prayer, a ministry launched in 2016 with the purpose of releasing the kingdom of God on the earth through prayer. The ministry includes teaching and leading a variety of prayer assemblies, including city-wide meetings that cross denominational lines to help bring unity in the Body of Christ in order to reach communities with the gospel. To further fuel her passion and call to the Body of Christ, in 2018 Barbara completed the In Christ Image Training courses of Pastor Francis Frangipane and is now serving as an associate member of Advancing Church Ministries Association. With a fervent desire to see God's people living as true ambassadors for Jesus Christ, demonstrating the kingdom of Heaven on earth and carrying out the command of Jesus to make disciples of all nations, Barbara sets her affections on Christ and endeavors to humbly serve Him all her days, knowing that apart from Him she can do nothing. Barbara and her husband Raymond, who introduced her to Jesus many years ago, have been married nearly 40 years and reside in Florida, close to their family.
