Autorenporträt
This book was written by an ordinary guy. No claim to fame and no degrees to add importance to what has been written here. This is his first book and, apart from a miracle of God, will probably be his last for reasons that will become clear once you begin reading it. He is just someone trying to be honest about his failings and feelings and hoping to pass on what he has learned in the process of living life to his family and to you. You probably won't see his name on any "Who's Who" list, because apart from the notoriety attained by this book, Rich hasn't done anything exceptional So it is with great anticipation his that he has finally offered his true story to the world in hopes that by doing so God's truth may be revealed to you. Rich knows that his story has remained a secret for far too long. Rich was an employee of Electro-Motive Diesel, formerly Electro-Motive Division of General Motors, for thirty-two years before an illness prevented him from continuing. He began his career there as an electrical inspector and progressed to a Sequencer, providing the "where" and "when" of manufacturing locomotives. He also spent twenty-five of those years attending and serving at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Berwyn, IL (later Emmanuel Bible Church) where much of his education regarding the Scripture took place under Pastor Richard E. Wager. Rich hopes that by sharing his struggle with the world he might be able to help others understand their struggles and Christ's love more fully.
