Autorenporträt
Rusty was born in Pembroke Dock in Wales, the youngest of four in an RAF family. The family moved around for the first few years until they settled in Hertfordshire, where Rusty was educated. Rusty tried her hand at various jobs, including a short three year stint in the Women's Royal Air Force, but eventually settled on training as a Lawyer. In her private life, Rusty found that children warmed to her and after writing many short stories for pleasure decided to turn her hand to producing something a little more substantial, and so, Sammy the Spaniel was born.
