Deborah Bruce is a writer and theatre director. As a director, her credits include Scarborough (Royal Court Theatre), Blame (Arcola Theatre) and Helen (Shakespeare's Globe). Her plays include Godchild, premiered at the Hampstead Theatre and The Distance, which was nominated for the 2012 Susan Smith Blackburn Prize.
