Joie Lamar made her way to Canada 16 years ago, from the United States, when she met the love of her life. They were married in Ontario, Canada in 2010. She is most passionate about marriage equality, celebrating the many heroes and she-roes of the LGBTQ community, women's and animal rights. Salsa Hips (c) is book two of her Lips and Hips memoir series. G (c), Joie Lamar's crime fiction novel will be released in early 2017. Ms. Lamar still holds a full-time job as an Electrical Engineer. "I promised my creative side that I would make more time for it when I retired my technical life." "I am honing those skills now before the big day comes." She lives in Ajax, Ontario with her wife Natalie and their two fur babies.
