As a nurse myself for the past thirteen years, I wanted to write a book for children to show them the importance of kindness. That even a kind gesture to a stranger can mean so much. Sadie is a nurse who cares for everyone around her with unconditional empathy and care. She is someone I have aspired to be my whole nursing career, and even more now I am a mum.
