Cheryl Anne Stapp is the author of numerous magazine articles and Disaster & Triumph: Sacramento Women, Gold Rush Through the Civil War, a history of pioneer women who settled in California's capital city. She lives with her husband in Sacramento, where she serves on the Board of Directors of the California Writers Club, Sacramento Branch.
