Reuben J. Swanson is a retired professor of New Testament and religious studies and an ordained Lutheran pastor. He is editor of 'New Testament Greek Manuscripts' and author of the series 'The Horizontal Line Synopsis of the Gospels.' His recent work includes Reflections on Biblical Themes By an Octogenarian (Wipf and Stock, 2007).
