Disaster data in recent years shows an increase in the physical, social and economic impact of these tragedies, statically, 90% of the total disasters and 95% of the total disaster related deaths worldwide occur in developing countries, whereas the fraction of National production (GNP) lost estimated to be twenty times greater than in industrialized countries.
