Phyllis J. Perry is the author of 68 books, including three on Colorado. She was assisted by photographer David Perry and Rocky Mountain National Park Museum curator Tim Burchett in selecting the historic photographs for this book from the Rocky Mountain National Park archives. These amazing pictures, many taken by early park rangers and naturalists, give a glimpse into the past of a variety of colorful people and events that shaped this park located "on the top of the world."
