Marly and J. are mom and dad to the beloved Rocky and JoJo. They are a tight knit family of four that love seeking adventure in their home of Hawaii and around the world. From family surfs, to skate sessions, to dance parties and more; their number one priority is making memories as a family. Marly was an elementary school teacher, and J. was a boat captain on the seas of Hawaii. Marly and J. strive to combine their love of teaching, adventure, and a little bit of magic, into all their books. You will almost always find Marly and J. chasing their boys into the ocean to surf, hiking up a mountain, or cruising through nature in their renovated sprinter van. Rocky and JoJo's close bond as brothers and best friends is something they are most proud of. Their out of control energy (and hair), hilarious dance moves, rascally ways, and excitement for life, is something to be recounted. Together, we're grateful to tell our family's story through fictional tales based on real life adventures.
