The study of stability and performance robustness in presence of parametric uncertainty is an important aspect of control system analysis. The problem of robust stability analysis and design for plants having unknown but bounded parameter uncertainties, which are often called the interval plants or systems, represented either in the frequency domain or state space have received considerable attention and has been very important research topic. In this book, we have mainly focused on the design of controller for stability and performance robustness of the system under parametric uncertainty using interval arithmetic approach.
