In this book, a Systematic Review of the Scientific Evidence of the entire spectrum of Chronic Pelvic Pain (CPP) syndrome is carried out, in order to know the perceptions that people with CPP have about their condition, and what quality of life they refer to it. Initial pilot study has been scheduled in the framework of GuíaSalud, and the Spanish Network of Agencies for Assessing National Health System (NHS) Technologies and Performance, through a Collaboration Agreement, foreseen in the Quality Plan for the NHS of the Ministry of Health, Social Services and Equality, agreement signed by the Carlos III Health Institute, autonomous body of the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness, and the Aragon's Institute of Health Sciences (IACS). As Area Technician of Decision Making Based on Evidence (in the Area of Knowledge Transfer of IACS), the inception of this review is the draft "Review and synthesis of evidence on chronic pelvic pain", framed in the Spanish Network of Agencies for Assessing NHS Technologies and Performance Annual Work Plan 2014, draft report submitted in July 2015 and still unpublished (May 2018).
