The sowing was done in polythene bag on 25th June 2014 by dibbling and transplanting done on 25th July 2014. The land configuration treatments of ridges and furrow were found beneficial in improving growth characters, yield attributes and yield in pigeonpea than flat bed planting.Transplanted pigeonpea at 90 x 60 cm was significantly higher grain yield (2407 kg ha-1) is found beneficial in improving growth characters, yield attributes and yield over all of the treatment.
