The field experiment was conducted at college of agriculture, University of Agricultural Sciences, Raichur, Karnataka state, India, during 2009-2010. Keeping this in view for national benefit this research work was planned as "Performance of pigeonpea genotypes under different planting geometry" with following objective likes: 1) To know the performance of pigeopea genotypes under rainfed condition. 2) To study the effect of different planting geometry on growth and yield of pigeonpea genotypes. 3) To study the interaction effect of pigeonpea genotypes and planting geometry. 4) To work out the economics of the system. This experiments are helpful for all pigeonpea growing farmingcommunity under rainfed condition for getting higher yield and income.
