In plants, zinc plays a key role as a structural constituent or regulatory co-factor which contains a wide range of different enzymes and protein in many important biochemical pathways are these are mainely concerned with carbohydrate metabolism, both in photosynthesis and in the conversion of sugars to starch and protein metabolism. Few zinc solubiizing bacterial genera viz. Bacillus spp., Pseudomanas spp., Thiobacillus spp., etc and facultative thermophilic iron oxidizers were reported as zinc solubilizers are used for study to check response.
