I was raised in a family with strong family values. As a family therapist I made an effort to share what I had learned with others. This book represents an accumulation of my family and professional experiences, as well as my thoughts pertaining to families. I believe there will always be a need to keep families strong. There are many adversities that mankind has faced over the centuries. Humans have survived, not only from their own strength, but more importantly, as a result of their collective strength. In this book I have attempted to provide some guidance for those who may be seeking a healthier and happier family lifestyle; in other words, to build upon their own strengths. My personal belief is that "greatness" is not achieved as a result of fame and fortune. It is achieved through humble acts of kindness and giving. Greatness also means giving the best to your family.
