The main thrust is laid on local traditions, knowledge, practices and institutions the people have developed in course of time in utilizing resources and shaping livelihoods and associated strategies. Most of the studies on livelihoods so far are not holistic in nature and, hence, this book is more comprehensive and holistic understanding of the resources and livelihoods.
Autorenporträt
Dr.T.Babji Reddy(b.1977) obtained Ph.D from Sri Venkateswara University,Tirupati,India.He awarded ICHR-JRF.He did fieldworks in tribal areas, SEZ and sex workers.He explored rock art sites.His special interests incude ethno-medicine, magico-religious practices.Presently working as academic consultant to teach M.Sc students at S.V.University.
