This book is an outgrowth of a study aimed at determining the effects of resource and learning factors on learning outcomes in undergraduate practical geography. The study covered selected universities and final year students in undergraduate geography in Nigeria. The result showed that the level of resource provision was low while that of resource utilization was high. Students exhibited positive attitudes towards learning environment, use of instructional materials and practical geography while students scores in mathematical ability and practical geography were low. The six study variables jointly accounted for 89% variation in student achievement with mathematical ability, use of instructional materials, gender and learning environment significantly predicting student achievement in undergraduate practical geography. Similarly, the six variables accounted for 7% of the variation in student's attitude to practical geography with learning environment, resource utilization and useof instructional materials as significant predictors. The implications of these findings were identified and recommendations made on how to improve the learning and teaching of undergraduate practical geography.
