The relationship between teaching and research in the modern universities is one of international concern. Wudu Melese Tarekegne, Lecturer of Curriculum and Instruction, taught the courses, graduate and undergraduate programs at Jimma University for the last 11 years. Head of Department Pedagogy, 2003-2007; associate editor-in-chief, the Ethiopian Journal of Education and Sciences.Currently, a PhD student in Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia.
