The study was carried out with the objectives of assessing the Reproductive health and life-skills educational needs on knowledge, attitude and practice and to prove the effectiveness of education programme in improving nutritional status, health status, and physical activity of the adolescent girls. The aim of the study was to develop a need based reproductive health and life skills education programme for adolescent girls. The RHLS educational programme planned and implemented as part of the research work was a need based one. The RHLSE developed manual can be used for educating the urban adolescent girls. This calls for educating the young for healthy and regular diet pattern which will improve their overall health. The study also showed that the Educational manual was effective in increasing the knowledge in RHLS; it can be utilized by many educators who handle the youth of today.
